Adam Waterston

Adam has over 13 years of experience in the insurance industry. He joined INDECS in 2023 where his principal role within the Project Finance team involves advising lenders on the insurance requirements of non – recourse financed projects.

Prior to joining the company Adam has worked at some of the world’s largest insurance brokers where he specialised in the design, placement, and management of insurance programmes for offshore wind, and submarine power interconnector projects. His clients included joint ventures concerned with standalone projects as well as multinational energy companies owning and operating significant global portfolios. He also has significant experience working with offshore contractors in turnkey as well as owner-controlled projects, and is well versed in the complexities and challenges that exist in the marine sector. He also has experience broking trade credit and political risks with a focus on commodities transactions both on a whole turnover and transaction by transaction basis.

Adam studied History at the University of Edinburgh and subsequently completed his Graduated Diploma in Law at Northumbria University. He has been an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute since 2015
